Is Semipermanent Makeup safe?

The pigments are sterile, cosmetic grade use. All the ingredients have been approved by the FDA for cosmetic use. At our facility-insured tattoo-licensed facility, we use disposable single-use tools, and all the equipment is certified professional grade.

Is Semipermanent Makeup painful?

Clients may experience a light discomfort on the same areas. If necessary, a topical numbing agent can be applied before and after the skin is opened to lessen discomfort.

How long does Semipermanent Makeup last?

Healed results will vary between each individual client based on the client’s skin type, lifestyle, and technique chosen. This a semipermanent “low” maintenance treatment and touch-up visits are necessary between 6 to 24 months.

Getting ready for Semipermanent Makeup appointment?

It is recommended to show up to the appointment without any makeup. Refrain from smoking, drinking coffee, alcohol, aspirin, fish oil, and other blood thinners 24 hours before your appointment. The lists of items mentioned above can affect the results of your treatment. Please inform the technician If you received or planning to get any cosmetic procedure like Botox, fillers, laser, or facial treatments such as chemical peels. This kind of appointment should be planned accordingly.

How many treatments will I need?

All Semipermanent Makeup treatments or removal have required a minimum of two sessions. Depending on the client’s goals, skin type, age, and lifestyle, additional sessions may be needed. The technician will advise the best treatment course for you during a consultation and assessment.

What is downtime? 

After receiving a Semipermanent Makeup session, regardless of the treatment received, healing takes from 3 to 7 days. The color may appear darker for the first week, and flaking for 3-5 days may be experienced. Some clients experience minor redness, swelling, and uneven coloration as a part of the healing process. Aftercare instructions will be provided after the procedure.

Who is not a candidate for Semipermanent Makeup?

If you are pregnant or nursing, those who have received chemotherapy within the last 6 months, or any person with a compromised immune system. You must be 18 or older to receive treatment.

What should I do if I have a prior (PMU)?

A clear photo of the area to be treated should be send to info@nataliabeautyestudio.com or by text message to (305)604 0707 to be assess by the technician. It is important to understand that working on a prior permanent makeup artist’s work is challenging. This is not considered a touch-up; additional charges may occur for color toning, shape correction or removal.
